Hoe Bowl Mardi Bob

The second NeJST tournament of the season was held 9/16/07 at Hoe Bowl Mardi Bob, Poughkeepsie, NY on a difficult 40 foot gutter to gutter lane condition. 37 bowlers competed with a field average of 152.57

Six Collegiate Boys (aged 18-21) averaged 164.7 with a high game of 213 by Dan Quesnell, Kingston, NY, and high series of 1034 by Josh Grabiec, Fairfield, CT. Medalists were Josh Grabiec (gold), Bobby Micklick, Highland, NY (silver), and Jonathan Kalbfus, Wappingers Falls, NY (bronze).

Four Girls (aged 15 -21) averaged 143.8 with a high game of 204 by Liz Pratt, Troy, NY, and high series of 1006 by Leigh Pratt, Troy, NY. Medalists were Leigh Pratt (gold), Liz Pratt (silver), and Rosanne Jansen, Kingston, NY (bronze).

Five Junior Boys (aged 12-14) averaged 150.7 with a high game of 208 by Anthony Santostefano, Wappingers Falls, NY, and high series of 1009 by Josh Regnier, Enfield, CT. Medalists were Anthony Santostefano (gold), Josh Regnier (silver), and Christopher Dziengiel, Pine Bush, NY (bronze).

Five Junior Girls averaged 137.4 with a high game of 201 by Brianna Amidon, Pittsfield, MA, and high series of 928 by Tory Jansen, Kingston, NY. Medalists were Tory Jansen (gold), Bethany Duchowny, Charlton, NY (silver), and Brianna Amidon (bronze).

14 Major Boys (aged 15-17) averaged 162.2 with a high game of 245 by T. J. Bailey, Hopewell Junction, NY, and high series of 1170 by Alex Weglarz, Schaghticoke, NY. Medalists were David Rice, Shaftsbury, VT (gold), Alex Weglarz (silver), and T. J Bailey (bronze).

Three Prep Boys/Girls (aged 11 and under) averaged 116.2 with a high game of 160 and high series of 870 by Ross Whitehead, Walden, NY. Medalists were Ross Whitehead (gold), Maeson Cooper, Troy, NY (silver), and Joshua McCart, Hoosick Falls, NY (bronze).

Josh Regnier won the Mystery Score Jackpot ($32 scholarship). The jackpot will begin accruing again next tournament. The Shoot-Out was won by Shaun Mitchell, Port Ewen, NY, who receives a $45 scholarship.

Shaun Mitchell and Tory Jansen were the advancers of the Junior Gold qualifiers.
