Junior Gold spots for the 2007 tournament in Buffalo, NY were earned by Dan Quesnell (NY) and Greg Andrews (MA).

During the first day of qualifying, 9 games on a short oil pattern, the high game of 258 was rolled by Shawn Hagan (MA) and high series, 1817, by Jim Bosse (CT). During the second day, 6 games on a long oil pattern, the high game of 238 was thrown by Caitlin McCaw (CT) and high series of 1236 by Shawn Hagan.

NeJSTs Inaugural Season

223 junior bowlers participated in our 22 regular season tournaments.
176 boys and 47 girls.

Of 37 Collegiate Boys Matt Deuire, Kingston, NY, had the high average on sport conditions of 210 and the high blended average of 211. Kyle Shivers, Red Hook, NY had high average of 207 on house conditions.


26 bowled in the Girl’s Division during the season. Leigh Pratt, Troy, NY, had a 188 high sport condition average. Caitlin McCaw, W. Hartford, CT, had a 208 for high house condition average. Blended average high was 195 held by Alexandria Kiesman, Attleboro, MA.

52 Junior Boys participated. Chris Colella, Templeton, MA, had high average on sport conditions of 176. Chris Layton, Beacon, NY, had high house shot average of 197 and the high blended average of 189.

Of the 6 Junior Girls, Ashley Reid, Enfield, CT, had high sport (146), high house (157), and high blended (150) averages.

The Major Boys Division had 82 bowlers. Connor LeClair, Athens, NY, had high sport shot average with 197 and high blended average of 201. Jim Bosse, Berlin, CT, had a 214 high house condition average.

Taylor LeClair, Athens, NY, had high averages on sport and house conditions, 153 and 166, respectively, of the 20 Prep bowlers. Rebecca Pratt, Troy, NY, had the highest blended average in the division of 162.

Divisional Bowler of the Year Awards, based on points accumulated during the 22 tournaments, have been won by the following:

33 qualified for the Junior Gold National Championship in Florida in July. Five have already qualified for the 2007 Junior Gold National Championship in Buffalo, NY, next year.

14 bowlers also earned full or partial entries into the BEST Tournament which will be held this coming weekend in Maple Shade, NJ.

49 bowlers attended at least 7 of the 22 regular season events to qualify for our first Championship Tournament.
