CHANGE TO CURRENT SCHEDULE

Due to poor turn-out at this season's first five (5) events (21,19,21,16,12), I have decided to scale back the remaining schedule. The next events will be (as of this posting):
December 4th - cancelled
December 11th - cancelled
January - TBA
February 19th at AMF Silver Lane,East Hartford, CT at 1 PM
March 4th at Auburn AMF, Auburn, MA at 1 PM
April 29th - RI
May 6th at Bowl-O-Rama, Newington, CT at 1 PM

There will not be a Winter Break Tournament this season.

For the time being, divisions are being reorganized. For the remainder of this season they will be Boys 14 and Under, Boys 15-21, and Girls 21 and under.

If entries improve I will be happy to add tournaments back to the schedule. Eligibility for the Championship tournament will be decided at a later date.

General Meeting to be held May 22nd at Tournaments

We will be holding a General Meeting on Sunday, May 22nd, at the year end Championship/BASH Tournaments.

We will be discussing the schedule for next season...number of tournaments, where to be held, how many required for championship participation, entry fee, etc.

I do believe we need to make some changes due to the economic climate...i have noticed it's impact this season.

If anyone would like to post their thoughts/ideas,opinions, there is a thread started on the message board for such.

RESULTS OF WINTER BREAK TOURNAMENT

Sunday's match play was contested on a long oil condition. It did not seem to be as challenging for our bowlers as the previous day's short condition.

Highlighting the day was David Rice's (VT) 300 game and 801 series.

David continued to bowl well to win the Open Division. Kyle Rasmussen (CT) was 2nd. Nicole Trudell (RI) placed 3rd.

Vernon Billington (CT) garnered 1st place in the Junior Division. Jack Trainor (MA) finished 2nd. Dustin Netolicky (CT) was 3rd.

In the Prep Division Jonathan Farrell (CT) and Dominick Decker (NY) finished 1st and 2nd, respectively.
