2008 MVP's and Bowler of the Year


MVP's are determined by points accrued during the season for participation, place in qualifying, and final placing in each event. The Bowler of the Year is the bowler with the most points regardless of division.

This season MVP scholarship is awarded: $100 for first, $50 for second, and $25 for third (in the four largest divisions only)

Collegiate Boys Division: Ryan Evans (MA), Ali Dihmes (CT), and Danny Khuu (MA)
Girls Open Division: Alexandra Kiesman (MA), Julianne Belsky (MA), and Caitlin McCaw (CT)
Junior Boys Division: Stephen Rogers (NY), Joshua Regnier (CT), and Jalen Scott-Jones (RI)
Junior Girls Division: Nicole Trudell (RI), Jessica Evans (MA), and Tori Whetstone (RI)
Major Boys Division: Shane Fleury (VT), David Rice (VT), and Christopher Colella (MA)
Prep Division: Jackie Evans (MA), Dakota Fleury (VT), and Jadee Scott-Jones (RI)


Ryan Evans is Bowler of the Year and receives a bowling ball of his choice (including drilling, grips, and slugs, if desired) donated by Litchco's Precision Pro Shop (in Bradley Bowl), Windsor Locks, CT, and a Track three-ball roller bag.

2008 BASH Results















Leigh Pratt's (Troy, NY), pictured above left, final 2 out of 3 game match with scores of 169-245-232 won the 2008 BASH and a $330 scholarship. Ryan Evans (Acton, MA), above center, placed 2nd and receives a $200 scholarship. Alex Weglarz (Schachticoke, NY), above left, placed 3rd and receives a $125 scholarship.

Other scholarship recipients were Kyle Rasmussen (Windsor, CT) $90 and Chris Colella (Templeton, MA) $65.
