Today the scratch tour bowled at AMF Lang Lanes. 28 participants showed up and bowled 6 games across 12 lanes on a modified house shot. For the major boys division, 5 out of the 10 bowlers advanced to match play, culminating in a championship round with number 2 seed Ryan Graywacz defeating number 1 seed Jarad Watson by a score of 215-214 in a nail biting finish. Results From Springfield Bowl 4/4/10

Results From Springfield Bowl 4/4/10

22 bowlers participated in the event at Springfield Bowl in Springfield Vermont. They bowled on a standard house pattern. High scores for each division were David Rice with a 1295 in the collegiate divison, Jill Goldsworthy with a 1290 in the Girls division, Dustin Netolicky with a 1267 in the Junior Boys division, Dillon Davis with a 1471 in the Major Boys division, and Noah Frankforter with a 1064 in the Preps division. Winners in each division were John White for the Collegiates, Taylor Billington for the Girls, Dustin Netolicky in the Junior Boys, Stephen Rogers in the Major Boys, and Noah Frankforter in the Preps.

Scores for all divisions were typically above average, with most bowlers averaging  well over 200. The high average for the day was Dillon Davis of the Major Boys division with a 240 for the 6 games of qualifying. Dillon Davis and Jill Goldsworthy each recieved 70 points for the day, helping them move up in the standings. The reason for scores being so high was because the center didn't use a sport shot like most other stops on the tour do. The bowling alley featured 16, hard wood lanes, and a standard house shot as seen in regular bowling leagues.
